Antoine de Saint-Exupéry wrote the famous fairy tale “The Little Prince” over 80 years ago. It has inspired hundreds of artists and remains relevant to this day. The chief choreographer of Kyiv Modern-Ballet, Radu Poklitaru, decided to stage a ballet based on this work. He reinterpreted the journey of The Little Prince through various planets, where each encounter reveals a deep meaning of human relationships and the essence of personality.
In the language of contemporary choreography, the Academic Theater “Kyiv Modern-ballet” will show the purity of a child's worldview, the importance of preserving childlike spontaneity, and seeing the world with the heart, without losing oneself in everyday bustle. The ballet “The Little Prince” directed by Radu Poklitaru has won many awards. For the new interpretation of the famous work, a touching musical sequence based on the first symphonies of W. A. Mozart, which the talented composer wrote at age 8, was selected. Fragments of Ukrainian lullabies performed by Maria Pylypchak, harmoniously woven into the plot, will create a special atmosphere.
