A new album with important meanings
The Vivienne Mort band was founded in 2007 and has already become legendary. This is a great merit of its founder, the talented and charismatic Daniela Zayushkina. She writes poetry and music for the band, and fascinates with her deep, soulful vocals. For almost 18 years, thousands of listeners have fallen in love with Vivienne Mort, it has performed at the most popular music festivals (Respublica FEST, ZAXIDFEST, Bandershtat, Atlas Weekend), and gathered full halls in Ukraine and abroad. Nowadays, they are rightly called one of the best Ukrainian indie rock bands.
Vivienne Mort have taken a long break and are back with the long-awaited new album “Fata”, which will be presented at concerts across the country. It consists of 13 songs united by a common concept. The title, according to Daniela Zayushkina, has a double meaning depending on the accent in the word:
- “Fatа́” is a symbolic headdress of a bride;
- Fа́ta means fate or lot, which Ukraine accepted with honor, not wanting to be the bride of the greatest evil in the universe.
The concert with the presentation of the album “Fata” will be a real journey through Vivienne Mort's work, which, as always, is full of deep lyrics, important meanings and unique sound. Come and enjoy the beautiful Ukrainian music!
Musical magic in Kyiv
On May 26, Vivienne Mort will perform all the songs from her new album “Fata” in the majestic hall of the Kyiv National Academic Operetta Theater. Magical acoustics, unique lighting design and Daniela Zayushkina's unique vocals will make the performance unforgettable. In addition to the album premiere, the concert will also feature familiar songs: “Birdie”, ‘Time’, ‘Frost’ and others.
In addition to the opportunity to hear your favorite band, Vivienne Mort invites everyone to support those who are fighting for our future and join the charity. All the funds raised will go to the needs of the medical service of the 12th Special Forces Brigade “Azov” of the National Guard of Ukraine.
